Insurance Underwriter

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Underwriter to join our team at Alliant Insurance Services. As a Commercial Insurance Underwriter, you will play a critical role in reviewing, underwriting, and rating broker submissions for new and renewal business for our Insurance Program for First Nations.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze policies and endorsements to identify errors, omissions, or discrepancies.
- Order necessary reports or documents to support the underwriting process.
- Issue policies and endorsements, and coordinate the preparation of policy delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving complex issues.
- Assist in training and development of Assistant Underwriters and administrative staff.
- Ensure compliance with agency management system data standards and data integrity.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least six years of related work experience, with knowledge of the insurance industry preferred.
- Valid insurance license, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
