Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to lead and develop best practices in our paint department. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Production, and Materials teams to drive process improvements and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies for new projects, including feasibility studies, project timing, and cost estimates.
- Lead the design and launch of new paint lines, including capital project development, vendor selection, and front-end engineering design.
- Continuously improve and enhance paint lines for optimized performance, reducing machine downtime and improving overall equipment effectiveness.
- Provide technical support for the assessment of different manufacturing scenarios and ensure that all equipment, processes, and procedures comply with applicable standards and regulations.
- Develop and deliver training to operations and maintenance technicians to ensure a seamless handover of new equipment.
- Degree/diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in powder paint applications.
- CAD experience (Inventor, AutoCAD) is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with minimal guidance.
- Proven project management experience and ability to apply fundamental engineering principles to identify and drive non-standard solutions.
