The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to lead and develop best practices in our paint department. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Production, and Materials teams to drive process improvements and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies for new projects, including feasibility studies, project timing, and cost estimates.
  2. Lead the design and launch of new paint lines, including capital project development, vendor selection, and front-end engineering design.
  3. Continuously improve and enhance paint lines for optimized performance, reducing machine downtime and improving overall equipment effectiveness.
  4. Provide technical support for the assessment of different manufacturing scenarios and ensure that all equipment, processes, and procedures comply with applicable standards and regulations.
  5. Develop and deliver training to operations and maintenance technicians to ensure a seamless handover of new equipment.
Requirements
  1. Degree/diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in powder paint applications.
  3. CAD experience (Inventor, AutoCAD) is desirable.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with minimal guidance.
  5. Proven project management experience and ability to apply fundamental engineering principles to identify and drive non-standard solutions.
