Job Title: Engineering Technologist-HVAC

At United Connect, we're seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technologist to join our team. As an Engineering Technologist, you'll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for our HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Documentation: Develop precise CAD drawings and CNC files to support manufacturing needs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify ways to enhance efficiency and quality in existing manufacturing processes and help implement new standards.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Work with the team to develop and test new and existing products, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Materials Sourcing: Assist with sourcing and selecting materials that meet engineering and production requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with departments like Production and Purchasing to resolve any design, material, or production issues.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with health and safety regulations while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Engineering Technologist Certificate/Diploma: With a focus on digital technology or manufacturing.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing production environment (preferred).
  • Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles, strong background in mechanical design and drawing, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
