Retail Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Max Fuel Distributors Ltd. as a key member of our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to sales staff to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales professionals to meet the needs of our customers.
- Authorize Payments: Verify and approve payments by cheque, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Order Merchandise: Source and procure merchandise in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet customer demand.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal productivity.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service and promote sales of merchandise to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are optimal and that merchandise is easily accessible to customers.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of sales staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, reconcile cash discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers, staff, and management to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
