About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of assigned projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including stakeholders, contractors, and consultants
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with organizational goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Registered Engineer (in N.S.) in a relevant Engineering discipline having 3 years project management experience; or Project Manager with 5 years of experience in a Building Infrastructure or Health Care Environment
  • Experience in building design, contract, construction, and project management
  • Experience managing complex projects and stakeholder teams, committees, etc.
  • Budgeting and project estimating skills
  • Proven record of success working with staff, contractors, consultants, designers, and clients
  • Proven ability to apply quality management principles and processes
  • Ability to apply risk assessment and management principles and processes
  • Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional Certification considered an asset
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
