Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team at Westgate Liquor Store Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring they are assigned to duties effectively.
    • Establish and maintain a positive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing losses.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels, making adjustments as needed to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure that customer needs are met, and exceed expectations whenever possible.
  • Store Operations
    • Authorize payments by cheque, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
    • Order merchandise, maintaining a high level of inventory and minimizing stockouts.
    • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication
    • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers, ensuring clear and concise information is shared.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or liquor store environment

Work Environment
