We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Clerk Supervisor to join our team at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites - High Level. As a key member of our hotel staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our front desk, ensuring exceptional guest service, and leading a team of hotel staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize staff productivity and efficiency.
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach and stay connected with the team.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on hotel performance and staff activities.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Requisition materials and supplies to maintain a well-stocked hotel.
Work Environment:

Our hotel is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong leadership and communication skills. As a Hotel Clerk Supervisor, you will be working in a hotel setting, interacting with guests, staff, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide a team of hotel staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical accessibility accommodations available to ensure a welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
