Job Description

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is a leading aerospace staffing company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry.

This position is responsible for ensuring successful operations within the facility as well as oversight of the departments reporting to this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, staffing, and overall management of the facility to ensure development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Work strategically with the leadership team to ensure successful implementation of business plan objectives and regular reporting is completed.
  • Operational Management: Ensure adherence to policies and procedures to effectively maintain operations of the facility.
  • Customer and Regulatory Relationships: Ensure strong relationships with customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Financial Management: Work with leadership team to review and report on facility budget.
  • Safety Management: Actively participate in organization's Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understands and promotes the company safety policy.
Performance Objectives:
  • Strategic Planning: Obtain information and identify key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and leverage relationships within and across teams to achieve results.
  • Trust Building: Operate with integrity, disclose own positions, remain open to ideas and support others through dignity, respect, and fairness.
  • Diverse Mindset: Make decisions and initiate action to ensure that policies and procedures leverage the capabilities and insights of individuals with diverse backgrounds, cultures, styles, abilities, and motivation.
  • Communication: Convey information and ideas clearly and concisely to individuals or groups in an engaging manner that helps them understand and retain the message.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Relevant degree or minimum of 12 years related experience and/or training.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACA and Licensed AME.
