Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Late Night Pizza. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Staff Management
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Quality Control
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing a clear picture of business performance.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a food service or related role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Standing for extended periods, with frequent lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
