About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Kindertots Child Care Centre. As an integral part of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development Support: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Program Implementation: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Child Care Assistance: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and assist with housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Communication: Synthesize the overall situation of the children and communicate the information to parents.
  • Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
  • First Aid and Safety: Possess a First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics, creativity, honesty, and ability to multitask.
