Pharmacy Assistant - Central Fill

London Drugs Limited is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at our Central Fill Pharmacy in Richmond, BC. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations, including technical preparations of prescription products, operation of automated pharmacy machines, shipping prepared prescription products, receiving and organizing pharmacy stock.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and multiple London Drugs' stores via telephone.
  • Meet production deadlines for prescription orders and delivery cut-offs.
  • Operate the prescription computer and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Possess strong technical knowledge and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, within a team environment.
  • Exercise proficient computer skills, including experience with Kroll pharmacy software.
  • Be highly organized and able to multitask effectively and work under changing priorities.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills and ability to isolate and solve problems.
