Job Title: Assistant Director - School Operations
Job Summary:
Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (La commission scolaire du Nunavik) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director to join our team. As a key member of our School Operations department, you will play a vital role in the management and operation of our schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and programs.
- Provide expertise and support to school administrators to promote optimal management and student success.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and evaluation of school administrators.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of school organization and staff allocations.
- Liaise with Education Services to ensure alignment with curriculum and student evaluation standards.
- Assist with the preparation of the department annual budget.
- Support the development and implementation of the School Success Plan.
Requirements:
- First cycle university degree in an appropriate field of studies or equivalent experience.
- Permanent teaching diploma issued by the Ministry of Education of Québec.
- At least six (6) years of relevant experience in education administration.
