_The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), incorporated under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (section 15) as well as the Act respecting health services and social services, covers the entire territory located north of the 55th parallel. Its mission is to adapt health and social services programs to the population’s needs and the region’s realities and to ensure efficient organization of the resources made available to the Nunavik region. _

**DESCRIPTION**

Under the authority of the Assistant to the Director of Administrative Services, the person holding this post will assist the staff of the department of administrative services in any administrative function. You will also be responsible for taking notes at certain meetings, preparing minutes and ensuring the logistics of travel required by the members of your team.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- College diploma in office automation. However, a combination of experience and other training may be considered;
- At least two (2) years secretarial experience;
- Experience in managing calendars;
- Board of Directors experience;
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite;
- Excellent time and priority management;
- Excellent knowledge of two of the three languages used in the region: Inuktitut, English or French;
- Demonstrate teamwork and customer focus skills
- Demonstrates resourcefulness and initiative;
- Experience working in the region will be considered a significant asset.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Permanent, full-time position (35h/week);
- Position based in Kuujjuaq;
- Salary according to the MSSS rules **(24.21$/h to 32.32$).**

**Northern benefits**: retention bonus **($6,000/year)**, remoteness **($10,627/year)** and the cost of living (**$3,870/year)** and, if hired more than 50 km from Kuujjuaq, low-cost housing provided, moving and storage expenses reimbursed, annual personal outings from Kuujjuaq to the point of hire, etc.

**Employees of the health and social services network are potentially eligible for the northern leave without pay.**
