Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional guest service and meet sales targets
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Guest Service and Satisfaction
    • Ensure that all staff are trained to provide exceptional guest service and meet Rimrock standards
    • Monitor and address guest complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner
  • Business Development and Sales
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage outlets, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
    • Ensure that all staff are trained to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Financial Management
    • Manage budgets and financial reports to ensure that the food and beverage outlets are operating within approved budgets
    • Identify areas for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce costs
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications
    • Post-secondary education in Hospitality/Tourism or a related field
    • Alberta ProServe Certification
  • Experience and Skills
    • 2-3 years of managerial experience in a food and beverage outlet
    • Excellent knowledge of liquor and wine
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Competent in Micros POS and Open Table software
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
