Role Overview: The Materials Manufacturing Engineering Specialist plays a pivotal role in collaborating with clients and suppliers to spearhead the enhancement, development, planning, and execution of optimal materials practices and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize project management methodologies to identify, document, investigate, track, resolve, and perpetually enhance all processes related to plant layout, PFEP, and material conveyance issues.
  • Continuously update the Material Flow Plan, Plant Layout, and PFEP to maximize space utilization and eliminate unnecessary movement and space.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Dock Utilization Plan for all facilities.
  • Assist in monitoring and implementing Engineering Changes and Bank Builds.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Materials/Supply Chain Management, Material Conveyance/Lean, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Planning or Layout/Material Flow-related position is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD is essential.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and regulations is necessary.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management and leadership are preferred.
