Materials Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator

The Materials Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving process improvements and developing best practices in materials management. This position requires strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with customers and suppliers to achieve common goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Plan For Every Part (PFEP) to optimize space utilization and minimize material movement.
- Ensure PFEP is aligned with customer volumes and run standards.
- Update Material Flow Plan, Plant Layout, and PFEP to maximize space utilization and eliminate waste.
- Develop and maintain standard work/routings for material conveyance.
- Develop and maintain Dock Utilization Plan for all facilities.
- Prepare and review Value Stream Maps.
- Participate in CTPAT audits with Logistics Coordinator and Materials Area Leaders.
- Actively participate in new program launches.
- Help monitor and implement Engineering Changes and Bank Builds.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety programs in accordance with OSHA.
- Post-secondary education in Materials/Supply Chain Management, Material Conveyance/Lean, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Planning or Layout/Material Flow related role.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with Microsoft Office and CAD.
- Strong organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with manufacturing processes and regulations.
- Knowledge and experience in project management and leadership.
- Physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Knowledge of Lean Principles, Value Stream, and Layout Design.
