About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at MO HANDMADE INC. as a key member of our purchasing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Contract Management
    • Consult with suppliers to negotiate contracts and quotations
    • Determine contract terms and conditions
    • Award contracts to suitable parties
    • Establish delivery schedules
    • Monitor progress of delivery schedules
  • Operational Logistics
    • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization
    • Review bids and negotiate costs
    • Resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers
    • Plan and control budget and inventory
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Efficient interpersonal skills
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
    • Experience in procurement or a related field is an asset
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Judgement and efficiency
