Job Title: Human Resources and Organizational Development Vice-President

At the Government of Canada - Western, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources and Organizational Development Vice-President to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and success.
  • Lead the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve human resources planning.
  • Set organizational objectives and formulate or approve policies and programs to drive business success.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate authority, and create optimal working conditions.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal awareness and team player skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
