Job Title: Administrative Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant at ScotiaMcLeod, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of advisors and specialists in delivering exceptional client service. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and enabling our team to focus on what matters most – our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Onboard new client relationships through digital account opening and documentation administration
  • Process client requests, account transfers, deposits, withdrawals, and payments, as well as requests for tax receipts and account reporting
  • Respond to client inquiries and issues in a timely manner, escalating as required
Requirements:
  • Experience in the securities industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional client service skills
