Your Role:The Senior IT Compliance Analyst is an integral member of the Operational Control Management (OCM) team within IT Governance. This role is pivotal in implementing, executing, and overseeing essential Operational and Strategic Risk Objectives and Controls. The focus is on assessing and mitigating risks, managing regulatory assessments, and collaborating with Control Objective and Practice Owners to enhance the operational effectiveness of control environments.
The Senior IT Compliance Analyst will play a key role in executing processes established by the IT Management Team and will exemplify best practices. This position involves analyzing and supporting Citco's IT Compliance efforts. Interaction with various internal Citco teams is essential to maintain stability in the IT control environment, assess IT risk, ensure regulatory compliance, respond to internal audits, and uphold the integrity of IT policies and standards. The Senior IT Compliance Analyst will also monitor and support initiatives for improvement, track quality, and manage compliance deliverables to ensure ongoing enhancements and functional maturity.
Main Responsibilities:- Supervise the activities of the IT Compliance Analyst.
- Collaborate with team members to share insights and assist with deliverables related to CTM OCM objectives efficiently.
- Engage with Divisional and Enterprise stakeholders to ensure timely completion of SOC 1 reviews.
- Work alongside Technical and Support teams across Citco Divisions to enhance the control environment collaboratively.
- Execute tasks assigned by OCM management to fulfill OCM goals and objectives.
- Draft test procedures for control activities to assess operational effectiveness and maturity levels.
- Provide actionable insights to facilitate appropriate responses to risk management and mitigation.
- Support and/or manage regulatory inquiries and assist in preparing materials for presentations.
- Ensure alignment and effective implementation of enterprise and divisional risks and control requirements within processes.
- Assist in preparing reports for senior management regarding operational effectiveness, including periodic and ad hoc reporting.
- Execute the CTM OCM Governance framework effectively.
- Identify, evaluate, and define compliance requirements within a technical context.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Graduate degree or relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, etc.) are preferred.
- Currently pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP, PMP).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in technical IT roles.
- Familiarity with Compliance and Controls standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001, MOF, CSA, COSO, CMMI).
- Experience in Project Management and proficiency with tools like JIRA and Confluence is advantageous.
- Knowledge of various SDLC frameworks such as Waterfall, AGILE, RUP, etc. is a plus.
- Understanding or practical experience in Risk and Control disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve results.
- Intellectually curious, capable of asking insightful questions without needing extensive technical knowledge.
- Experience in operational risk, compliance, regulatory, and control functions with a grasp of sound technical practices.
- Ability to develop action plans in collaboration with internal IT partners to mitigate risks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical requirements in layman's terms.
- Possess strong negotiation skills and a proactive attitude, motivating stakeholders effectively.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
