Your Role:The Senior IT Compliance Analyst is an integral member of the Operational Control Management (OCM) team within IT Governance. This role is pivotal in the implementation, execution, and oversight of critical Operational and Strategic Risk Objectives and Controls, concentrating on evaluating and mitigating risks, managing regulatory assessments, and collaborating with Control Objective and Practice Owners to enhance the operational effectiveness of the control environments.
The Senior IT Compliance Analyst is expected to assist in executing the processes established by the IT Management Team and exemplify these practices. This position emphasizes the analysis and support of Citco's IT Compliance initiatives. The role involves interaction with various internal Citco teams to promote stability within the IT control environment, monitor IT risk status, ensure IT regulatory compliance, respond to internal audits, and maintain the relevance of IT policies and standards. The Senior IT Compliance Analyst will oversee and support improvement initiatives, track quality, and manage compliance deliverables to ensure ongoing enhancements and functional maturity.
Main Responsibilities:- Supervise the activities of the IT Compliance Analyst.
- Collaborate with team members to exchange knowledge and assist with team deliverables, addressing the CTM OCM scope and objectives efficiently.
- Coordinate with Divisional and Enterprise stakeholders to ensure timely completion of SOC 1 reviews.
- Engage with Technical and Support teams across Citco Divisions to collaboratively enhance the control environment.
- Complete tasks assigned by OCM management to fulfill OCM goals and objectives.
- Draft control activity test procedures to assess operational effectiveness and maturity levels.
- Provide actionable insights to facilitate appropriate responses in managing, mitigating, or eliminating risks.
- Assist in the effective execution of Risk Assessments throughout the organization.
- Support and/or manage regulatory inquiries and prepare materials for presentations.
- Ensure alignment and effective implementation of enterprise and divisional risks and control requirements within processes.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports for senior management regarding operational effectiveness, including periodic and ad hoc reporting.
- Execute the CTM OCM Governance framework.
- Identify, evaluate, and define compliance requirements in a technical context.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Graduate degree or relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, etc.) are preferred.
- Currently pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP, PMP).
- 3 - 5 years of experience in technical IT roles.
- Familiarity with Compliance and Controls standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001, MOF, CSA, COSO, CMMI).
- Experience as a Project Manager and proficiency in Project Management tools such as JIRA and Confluence is advantageous.
- Knowledge of various SDLC frameworks such as Waterfall, AGILE, RUP, etc. is a plus.
- Understanding or practical experience in Risk and Control disciplines.
- Proven ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to achieve results.
- Intellectually curious, with the capacity to ask pertinent questions without needing extensive knowledge in specific technical areas.
- Experience in operational risk, compliance, regulatory, and/or control functions with a grasp of sound technical practices.
- Ability to develop action plans in collaboration with internal IT partners to mitigate risks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate technical requirements into accessible language.
- Possess strong negotiation skills with a proactive attitude and the ability to motivate stakeholders.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
