About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Sui. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping our data foundation and driving business decisions with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain complex data models to extract insights from various data sources, including on-chain wallets, contracts, block and transaction data, and third-party intelligence.
  • SQL and Data Pipelines: Design and implement efficient SQL queries to create and expand insights in our in-house reporting solutions, as well as compose pipelines to clean, combine, refine, and aggregate data.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and leadership, to conduct ad-hoc explorations and analytics, and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Ensure high-quality data by building out insights that serve the data team, and collaborating with data engineers to develop and maintain data pipelines.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and SQL. You should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, and/or equivalent practical experience.

Requirements
  • Strong SQL Knowledge: Proven experience with SQL and data modeling.
  • Data Analysis and Statistics: Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights.
Bonus Requirements
  • Programming Skills: Experience with general programming languages, such as Python and Go.
  • Cloud Data Platforms: Familiarity with cloud data platforms, such as Snowflake.
  • Blockchain Technologies: Experience with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized finance.
