Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, field support, maintenance, equipment repair, and management of customer property and equipment rentals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out field service tasks, including the installation and maintenance of wellheads, while delivering exceptional customer service and positively representing the company.
  • Maintain the assigned service unit, ensuring tools and spare components are adequately stocked.
  • Deliver, assemble, test, and paint wellhead assemblies as required.
  • Conduct repairs on customer property as necessary.
  • Ensure thorough service records and reports are maintained.
  • Support sales and customer relations activities as needed.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace health and safety by performing all operations safely and adhering to company procedures and HSE policies.
  • Travel to various branches for training and to assist field site locations as required.
  • Perform additional related duties, including shop and vehicle maintenance, as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience is preferred; however, candidates with mechanical skills and aptitude will be considered and trained.
  • Service-oriented with strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong work ethic and a proven commitment to safety.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Valid Class 1, 3, or 5 driver's license; must provide a current driver's abstract.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Experience with wellhead products and the energy industry is considered an asset, along with H2S, Fall Arrest, First Aid, and CSO training. Thermal wellhead experience and a ticket for Folding Boom Truck Crane (22 tonnes and under) or equivalent certification are also advantageous.
