Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at McDougall Acres Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of food safety and handling skills to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products and packaging for basic quality defects and report any issues to the production team.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean machines and immediate work areas, and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the organization and maintenance of inventory, including weighing materials and goods, and loading and unloading products and materials.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Documentation: Complete detailed inspection documentation and maintain accurate records of inventory and production.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Environment: Hot, cold/refrigerated, dusty, outdoors, and noisy work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Warehouse, rural area, and manufacture.
