Food Service Manager

Quesada Burritos & Tacos is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that food is prepared and served on time.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date records.
- Reports: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with accurate and timely information.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Mentorship: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers.
