Position Overview

A typical day for a Healthcare Security Officer includes:

Your responsibilities may vary depending on the specific location, but you can anticipate performing the following tasks:

  • Manage access control to the facility and within restricted zones.
  • Observe and react to incidents identified through surveillance systems.
  • Conduct thorough patrols of the premises, checking for potential risks such as unsecured doors, obstructed exits, mechanical failures, hazardous materials, and security violations.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency assistance requests.
  • Investigate and document any irregularities encountered during your duties.
  • Ensure patient safety by recording and reporting incidents as necessary.

Security Professionals are tasked with providing support, empathy, customer service, and public safety to healthcare staff, visitors, clients, and patients alike. The dynamic environments in which our Security Professionals operate can be both rewarding and stimulating, yet also demanding. Our experienced Healthcare managers offer round-the-clock support, focusing on proactively reducing risks and providing real-time assistance during incidents.
