About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at Wicked Carib. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, plan menus, and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Supervision: Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks, instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
  • Menu Planning: Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
