Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Lightmo Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of goods and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 delivery drivers and provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance targets.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity and efficiency.
  • Logistics Coordination
    • Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of delivery drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
    • Monitor and manage the movement of goods from origin to destination.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all delivery drivers are following health and safety regulations and best practices.
    • Investigate and resolve any issues related to quality or safety.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training and coaching to delivery drivers to improve their skills and knowledge.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all team members are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Materials and Equipment
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Ensure that all delivery drivers have the necessary certifications and licenses to operate company vehicles.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Ensure that all delivery drivers have a valid driver's license and are able to operate company vehicles safely.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Be able to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Language
    • English.
  • Work Hours
    • 30 to 40 hours per week.
