  • Administer payroll in accordance with accounting principles, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Ensure timely processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, leaves, and salary adjustments.
  • Review payroll and RSP summaries for accuracy, conduct reconciliations, and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain system accuracy and integrity through data entry, regular audits, and proactive monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, Sales, and Operations, to improve payroll efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate entry of HR and payroll data into the HRIS following each pay cycle.

Year-End Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee complete and accurate year-end processing, including T4s and T2200s for staff.
  • Complete and submit all required year-end reports such as CNESST, EHT, and RL1.

Benefits and Retirement Plan Administration:

  • Lead the internal administration of Group Benefits programs.
  • Manage Financeit's Group RSP program and serve as backup for 401K benefits in the US.
  • Coordinate enrollments, terminations, and salary updates, ensuring employee records and benefit files are current.
  • Oversee all leave of absence processes, including the parental leave top-up program.

Qualifications:

What You Will Need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Canadian payroll management and benefits administration.
  • Experience with year-end processing activities (T4s, T2200s, reporting, audits, etc.).
  • PCP designation is advantageous.
