Pharmacist Relief Professional

We are seeking a skilled Relief Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmacy services and support to our customers and medical practitioners. As a key member of our team, you will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient-focused care, customer service, and professional clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services, including disease state management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments.
- Prescribe medications safely, prioritizing technical functions to Pharmacy Assistants when available.
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information.
- Coach pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants (if applicable).
- Collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
- Identify actual and potential drug-related problems.
- Monitor medication adherence.
- Provide patient counseling for new therapy and determine patients' understanding of their medication.
- Above-average communication skills (both oral and written).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-directed and able to work independently to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Must be a Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility.
- Injection Certification.
- Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
