Job Summary

The Relief Pharmacist will provide exceptional pharmacy services and support to customers, medical practitioners, and other retail pharmacies. This role requires a strong focus on clinical services, including disease state management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services, including medication reviews and health risk assessments, to patients and customers.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacy assistants to prioritize technical functions and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient interactions.
  • Coach pharmacy students and pharmacy assistants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collect and analyze patient, drug, and disease information to identify potential issues.
  • Monitor medication adherence and provide patient counseling on new therapies.
  • Exceed customer expectations through efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility.
  • Injection Certification.
  • Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
