Pharmacist Intern, Pharmacy Services Specialist

Job Summary:

The Relief Pharmacist will provide pharmacy services and support to customers, medical practitioners, and other retail pharmacies working shifts scheduled by the Relief Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient-focused care and customer service
  • Work within assigned territory to achieve excellence in patient care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, and professional clinical services
  • Focus on clinical services, including medication reviews, health risk assessments, and prescription safety
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information
  • Coach pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants (if applicable)
  • Provide patient counseling for new therapy and determine patients' understanding of medication
  • Provide superior customer service to every customer

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility
  • Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred
