Position Overview

As a line cook at Save-on-Foods Sushi Bar, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team, ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess food portion sizes and calculate associated costs.
  • Design menus and forecast food requirements for meal preparation.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Oversee kitchen staff and assist in their daily tasks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations effectively.
