About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at 1456056 BC LTD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our pastry and dessert offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training
    • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training programs for kitchen staff.
    • Supervise and mentor specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Menu Planning and Quality Control
    • Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and develop menus that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Ensure that all food meets our quality standards and is presented in an appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Operational Management
    • Work closely with our kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our menu demands.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with our kitchen team, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that we are meeting our culinary goals and objectives.
    • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our culinary vision and mission.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Arrangements
    • Permanent full-time position.
    • 40 hours per week.
