About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Country Grocer. As a Baker, you will be responsible for baking a variety of breads and pastries, as well as preparing and packaging cookies, cakes, and other sweet treats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bake a wide range of breads and pastries, including artisan breads, cookies, and cakes.
- Prepare and package baked goods for sale, including decorating donuts and cakes.
- Ensure all prepared bakery items are properly labeled, covered, and rotated, and that shelves are stocked to meet customer demand.
- Provide top-notch customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive team environment.
About You:
We are looking for a skilled Baker who is knowledgeable about breads and pastries, and has excellent customer service skills. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Requirements:
- Food Safe certification is an asset, but not required.
