The role involves efficiently processing beverage orders while upholding all operational standards. Our ideal candidate possesses a robust bartending background, comprehensive understanding of classic cocktails, a passion for crafting unique drinks, and a solid foundation in wine knowledge, all while engaging and entertaining guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience through engaging interactions and adherence to service protocols.
- Innovate and conceptualize new cocktail creations.
- Skillfully prepare syrups, infusions, and tinctures as per specifications.
- Follow bar preparation schedules and maintain inventory levels consistently.
- Exhibit thorough knowledge of all food and beverage offerings to provide informed recommendations.
- Efficiently process drink orders and prepare beverages in accordance with established standards.
- Present drinks in an organized and appealing manner at the service area.
- Communicate drink descriptions, specials, and relevant information to guests and team members.
- Set up and dismantle the bar area, including dishwashing and coffee equipment.
- Ensure all bar products are stocked and organized, including mise en place.
- Monitor and maintain beer keg and liquor levels.
- Conduct inventory counts of beverages and supplies, assisting management with ordering as needed.
- Be attentive to special requests, including guest allergies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- SmartServe Certification.
- Proficient in English.
- A Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a comparable setting.
- Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and classic cocktails.
- A genuine passion for food, beverages, and exceptional customer service.
- Ability to multitask and excel as a lounge server.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as kegs and boxes.
