SAP Redwood Specialist

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled SAP Redwood specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for migrating jobs from other batch scheduling tools to Redwood, scheduling job and job chains with time windows and submit frames, and crafting jobs and scheduling jobs as per client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Migrate jobs from other batch scheduling tools to Redwood
- Schedule job and job chains with time windows and submit frames
- Craft jobs and schedule jobs as per client requirements
- Create submit frames and time windows in Redwood as per client requirements
- Supervise and maintain Redwood Housekeeping activities
- Handle jobs in various statuses, including pending, cancelling, and killing
- Prepare weekly reports for held jobs, long-running, and error jobs
- Run jobs and chains on ad-hoc requests
- Perform iteration testing for jobs in DEV, QUA, and PRD
- Create jobs, job chains, time windows, submit frames, events, locks, and alerts
- Handle alert mechanisms throughout the SAP Redwood landscape
- Perform regular system health checks
- Monitor process servers and queues
- Handle operator messages
- Perform maintenance activities
- Handle major incidents, drive MI calls, and update client management
- Work on various requests with Remedy as part of incident resolution
- Resolve, update, and add knowledge-based articles to incidents
- Prepare knowledge documents and publish articles
- Prepare issue trackers and incident reports and publish weekly status reports
- Review the strategy of background (batch) jobs setup and assess the current situation
- Schedule jobs in SAP Redwood and have knowledge of operating, exporting, and importing jobs in Redwood
- Configure email services in Redwood CPS
- Have development/implementation experience in SAP Redwood/CPS
- Craft dependencies between jobs
- Configure process servers and queues to handle the entire Redwood system
- Craft reports through Redwood
- Have good knowledge of UNIX shell scripts and be able to write/debug shell scripts
- Work well within an agile team environment and apply related working methods
- Analyze and understand sophisticated customer scenarios and thrive in challenging situations
- Coordinate with different teams across the WBD landscape and come up with solutions and fast-track priority issues
- Have basic knowledge of Java and scripting, preferably
