Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the pharmacy's budget, staffing, and inventory, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish and uphold policies and procedures that align with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Deliver full-scope clinical services, including medication management and patient consultations.
  • Assist customers with non-prescription medication selection and usage.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication side effects and address inquiries effectively.
  • Maintain accurate medication profiles and liaise with healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service through a positive and professional demeanor.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree or Doctorate in Pharmacy, with current registration in good standing.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kroll software is advantageous.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the Province of Alberta, with Injection Certification.
