KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Oversee and prioritize the workflow within the professional's office, ensuring timely completion of tasks and implementing necessary follow-up actions.
  2. Draft legal documents in accordance with established precedents or as instructed by the professional, requiring minimal supervision.
  3. Compose confidential correspondence, including letters and memos, either independently or through transcription from notes, for supervisor review.
  4. Serve as a communication bridge between the professional and various stakeholders, including internal teams and external clients.
  5. Handle routine correspondence that does not necessitate the professional's direct involvement.
  6. Maintain a reminder system or calendar to track and meet critical deadlines.
  7. Compile and prepare specialized reports, which may involve data collection and analysis.
  8. Exhibit initiative and sound judgment to alleviate the administrative burdens of the professional.
  9. Establish, monitor, and maintain client files to ensure effective case management and high-quality customer service.
  10. Coordinate various administrative functions, such as accounting, file management, time tracking, and invoicing.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Completion of a diploma program in legal administration.
  2. Over 8 years of experience in a legal administrative role.
  3. Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  4. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues and address client needs professionally.
  5. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  6. Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  7. Proven ability to manage a high volume of work with exceptional quality, often under tight deadlines.
  8. Skillful in prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing demands.
  9. Ability to maintain professionalism under stress.
  10. Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
