Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient flow of goods into and out of the warehouse.
  • Schedule and allocate work to employees to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Manage and establish working relationships with vendors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in customer meetings to identify new business development opportunities.
  • Monitor budgets and understand accounting processes to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies to maintain high-quality service.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure compliance with employment standards legislation.
  • Oversee the housekeeping of the warehouse, including safety, security, machine maintenance, layout, and inventory control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
  • Health and safety knowledge of regulations and workers' compensation processes.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse-related experience.
  • Supervisory experience in a technology-based radio frequency environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
