Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at the Durham District School Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students with communication and language learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication and language skills using standardized tools and frameworks
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' communication and language development
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to provide coaching and consultation services to support students' communication and language needs
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student assessments, interventions, and progress
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with evidence-based practices and research in the field of Speech and Language Pathology
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and insurance
  • Experience working with students with communication and language learning needs in an educational setting
