If you’re an enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist who is eager to make a difference while achieving personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an exceptional opportunity for you to meet these goals. As a part time Speech Language Pathologist works as part of the Home Health School-Based Services team serving communities in the Durham region such as Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, and Bowmanville. Provisional supervision is available for new graduates.
**Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day**
- Create and contribute to excellence in the client/stakeholder experience
- Provide client care either in person (in private schools) or virtually, as permitted
- Lead patients through individualized care plans, accurately assessing, communicating and providing treatment to facilitate goal attainment for the client
- Liaise with referral sources and funders to build relationships and ensure clients’ needs are met
- Provide written reports ensuring all documentation is aligned with College and CBI Health standards
- Contribute to the team through collaboration, demonstrating passion for the work you do and using good judgement and integrity in decision making
- Provide ongoing evaluation of patient progress
- Engage in continuous learning and skills development
**Here’s w**hat you need to be successful**
- You are registered as a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Your focus is to embrace person and family-centered care
- You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently
- You have the ability to travel within community as part of the CBI Health Home Health Services team
