CWB is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Services Manager. As a key member of our Commercial Portfolio Management team, you will be responsible for providing credit structuring, credit underwriting, risk management, and client-facing support for a complex and diversified client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with sales teams to support the branch through effective and timely credit underwriting for new and existing borrowing clients.
- Manage risks and day-to-day client relationships for Mid-Market commercial clients.
- Develop creative and ambitious full-service client solutions, while maximizing internal partnerships and specialists where appropriate.
- Use knowledge of credit policies and arrangements to apply risk mitigation skills and ensure appropriate measures are put into place.
- Proactively manage risk with prudent lending recommendations, including appropriate and consistent monitoring and due diligence.
- Connect with clients daily and provide critical retention touch points for high-value clients.
- Establish and sustain a psychologically safe and positive work environment that supports a fun, engaged, and strong diverse workforce.
- Bachelor's Degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated and proven abilities within functions of risk management, banking, business lending, including significant direct experience with commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries.
- Direct leadership and coaching experience.
