Job Overview

As a Showroom Sales Specialist, you will deliver expert guidance in product selection and design consultation to our clientele. Your primary goal will be to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction, thereby meeting or surpassing sales and profit objectives while enhancing profit-sharing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in evaluating their requirements, guiding their product choices, and finalizing sales Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with designers, builders, and architects to drive profitable sales Provide clients with prompt and reliable quotes along with accurate delivery timelines Achieve or exceed monthly sales and profit benchmarks specific to products Input orders and quotes into the system, facilitate purchases while ensuring proactive communication with clients Address and resolve customer concerns; manage short payments and returns efficiently to exceed customer expectations and benefit the Profit Centre Keep product literature updated to ensure customers have access to the latest information Promote showroom sales through marketing initiatives and maintain display materials Adhere to all safety regulations at customer sites and within the Profit Centre Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Profit Centre Manager

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset At least 2 years of experience in customer service or sales; experience in plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showroom sales is preferred Design experience or certification is advantageous Ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of showroom products, suggesting suitable options to meet customer needs and promoting value-added services Familiarity with kitchen and bath design trends Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Exceptional customer service and communication skills Strong relationship-building capabilities with clients, vendors, and colleagues Skilled in identifying customer needs, providing solutions, and closing sales Excellent project management abilities Capable of learning and utilizing the software systems for order processing Intermediate mathematical skills Valid driver's license

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience or knowledge of products offered in plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showrooms Familiarity with Infor or Digital Warehouse systems Experience in the design sector / certified designer
