Assembly Technician

About JobCart Inc.
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at JobCart Inc. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of truck bodies and parts, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute assembly layouts and procedures based on blueprints and drawings, taking accurate measurements to ensure precise fit and finish.
- Determine the most suitable tooling for each job, selecting from a variety of hand tools and electrical or manual tools.
- Assemble truck bodies and parts post-paint, installing locks, hardware, and lighting, and mounting the truck body to the chassis.
- Wiring for 12-volt electrical systems and installing hydraulic systems, including PTOs, pumps, and compressors.
- Test and inspect assembled products to identify any flaws or defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain equipment in a safe and operational condition, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience with a variety of hand tools and electrical or manual tools, including drills, tape measures, and screwdrivers.
- Knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems and hydraulic systems, including PTOs, pumps, and compressors.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings, including blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols, including the use of protective clothing and equipment.
- Deftness and attention to detail, with a focus on precision and accuracy.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
