Job Summary:
JobCart Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling truck bodies and parts post-paint, installing locks, hardware, and lighting, and mounting truck bodies to truck chassis. You will also be responsible for wiring 12-volt electrical systems and installing hydraulic systems, including PTOs, pumps, and compressors.
Responsibilities:
* Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures
* Determine the appropriate tooling based on job requirements
* Assemble truck bodies and parts post-paint
* Mount truck body to truck chassis
* Wire 12-volt electrical systems
* Install hydraulic systems, including PTOs, pumps, and compressors
* Test and inspect assembled products to discover flaws
* Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Requirements:
* Experience using a variety of hand tools
* Experience in using electrical or manual tools, including drills, tape measures, and screwdrivers
* Knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems
* Knowledge of hydraulic systems, including PTOs, pumps, and compressors
* Ability to operate air-powered hand tools, including screw guns, ratchets, and drills
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
* Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing, including face shields and gloves
* Deftness and attention to detail
* Mechanical aptitude
