About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Operations Manager to join our team at Elevate RS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our body shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations are running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve shop efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Lead and motivate a team of technicians, welders, and general laborers to achieve exceptional results.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and quality control shop employees' work to ensure that it meets our high standards.
  • Scheduling and Capacity Management: Manage and schedule employees for optimal efficiency and quality repairs done on time. Ensure that our repair and refurbishment bays, service equipment, and tools are utilized effectively.
  • Customer Service: Prioritize work to achieve best-in-class customer service. Maintain accurate repair order flow to satisfy shop and customer requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other key business functions, including finance and purchasing, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years of experience supervising body repairs and/or assembly of heavy-duty vehicles. 10 plus years of direct experience in an automotive/truck environment is preferred.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
