About the Role

Vici Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimation and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects.
  • Site Preparation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts in accordance with building codes.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Construction and Installation: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
  • Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, survey building locations, and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of materials and tools.
  • Worksite Maintenance: Clean and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
