Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at A&J SONS ONE HOLDINGS INC. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and team members.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to new staff members, covering job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Transportation: Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
As a Shift Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
