About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at NFP Corp. This role will focus on developing and executing business strategies to drive growth in our Personal Lines Division, specializing in niche markets such as Travel, Collector Car, Motorcycle, Recreational Vehicles, Boat, and Cottages.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in specialty insurance markets
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, agents, and industry partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated sales campaigns and product offerings
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on market trends and build NFP's reputation as a thought leader
- Provide product education and training to front-line producers on specialty insurance products and services
- Develop and analyze business development plans to meet and exceed sales targets
- Work closely with marketing and communications teams to ensure timely and effective promotion of NFP's services
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, with a focus on specialty insurance
- Active RIBO license (additional licenses considered an asset)
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Experience with business-to-consumer social media marketing an asset
